I was driving along the Swan River in Applecross when I saw two swans and four cygnets huddled by the side of the road.
I pulled over to try and warn other traffic as the swans started to cross the road away from the river to a garden opposite.
I left, worried for their safety and an hour later returned to find them attempting to cross back ..
